God was good to us yet again in 2024! He proves over and over again that He is faithful. We saw Him do many great things last year, growing our Church and Bible study, in both attendance and spiritual maturity, while also providing for many needs in the body. During our Inner-City Crusade in July we saw over 200 professions of faith in Christ and have been able to follow up with or direct many of them to other Biblical churches so they can continue to grow in the Faith. We had great help from many of our partner churches and individuals in serving the saints and evangelizing the lost. God has also allowed us to minister to several of our members who have lost loved ones recently. Please keep Joe, Virginia, and Lisa in your prayers as each of them lost a child last year.
I also had the honor of being ordained into the ministry at Kirby Woods Baptist Church in August: What an amazing journey God has taken me on to get me where I am today! Praise the Lord for grace and mercy.
In other personal news, Jessica found out that we are expecting number eight in May. Her insurance was inexplicably cancelled in October and though we had appealed, this preacher was struggling with worry. No one wants their pregnant wife to be without healthcare. Praise God we just received word that she is reapproved and covered again! He is faithful!
We are blessed at RTEA to not only have faithful staff but our volunteers, supporters, and prayer partners are invaluable to us. We thank God constantly for the precious folks that serve with us in these ways. Without them we would not accomplish even half of the work we do. The Lord provides!
We covet your prayers throughout 2025. We believe God may want us to host a Revival Conference at Miracle Baptist Church. Pray that we will have wisdom and humility in planning that event. I also have a desire to begin training our men in sermon preparation. I would like to see them “ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh, a reason for the hope that is in you.”
